Stock your Freezer with Easy Meals from Mom’s Pantry

Mom’s Pantry takes all the guessing and stress out of fundraising by making the most of your time and efforts. Looking to host a fundraiser for your school? Or stocking up on frozen fares to get you through this spring thaw?

We’ve all experienced that moment of relief and joy when you’re unsure what to cook for dinner and open the freezer to find a bag of pierogies calling your name. Or maybe you’re a busy parent trying to get dinner on the table before moving on to the kids' evening activities. Pierogies are the quick, easy, and versatile Ukrainian-Canadian classic made to fill your freezer.

Why Stock Your Freezer with Pierogies?

We’re all constantly on the go, and having an option that can satisfy everyone is a must. Pierogies are so versatile that they feel like a different meal every time you make them. Fry them, boil them, throw them in the oven, and you’re set. The convenience-to-quality ratio is unmatched, depending on what other sides and which method you choose to cook them. They’re done and ready to serve within 5-10 minutes.

Pierogies are meant to be shared with your family or with friends. We provide 6 x 1 KG bags per case, approximately 34 per bag, so you’re set to stock up and cook however many you need. Since they are delivered frozen, they’re guaranteed to last–if you can keep them around that long.

Pierogies for Every Occasion

  • The ultimate weeknight staple: Pierogies are convenient because you can have a well-balanced meal ready within minutes. There’s no panic and hustle over the stove when you get home from work. You can throw them on a pan, prepare your other portions, relax, and enjoy the rest of your evening.
  • A perfect side dish for a party or a work potluck: Cook them up and put the green onions and sour cream on the side so everyone can help themselves.
  • An easy snack or leftovers for lunch: Pierogies for a perfect afternoon energy boost.

Ways to Cook Mom’s Pierogies

We’ve mentioned the different ways to cook pierogies, but here are more instructions if you need inspiration for your next batch.

  • Boil: Place frozen pierogies in boiling water for 5 to 6 minutes until they are puffed and float to the top. Drain in a colander and toss gently in melted butter or margarine.
  • Pan-fry: Cover the bottom of the frying pan with cooking oil, margarine, or butter and heat to 375°F (190°C) on medium heat. Place the frozen pierogies into the pan and fry for 5 minutes on one side and 4 minutes on the other.

  • Air fry or bake: Similar to frying, set the oven or air fryer to 375°F (190°C), place the frozen pierogies in it for 5 minutes, and then flip them over for another 5-6 minutes, depending on your fryer. Lastly, toss in a bowl with some butter or margarine.

We recommend serving these variations with sour cream, sauteed onions, or bacon.
